Come present a solution design to a pressing issue that is limiting women and girls in their everyday life. Examples include but are not limited to: body image and shaming; perfectionism and unrealistic expectations; and harmful and out-of-date gender stereotypes. We invite you to turn your passion and talent into impact and create, either with some friends or on your own, a solution design for the change you wish to see.
Changemaker Challenge: Need to know
- You will be required to pitch your solution design with your team on March 9th, 2024, in person at Microsoft Campus, Redmond, Washington or virtually* if you reside outside the Puget Sound.
- To participate, an adult sponsor (e.g., parent, guardian, teacher) must register your team no later than February 24th
- Each team must be composed of at least one individual and no more than 6 members to qualify. All team members must be 7th to 12 graders.
- The team will be required to research their target audience, and propose a solution design that will address a problem impacting young women and girls.
