About the event

📣 Calling all BOLD Girls & Allies in grades 7-12 who are passionate about becoming changemakers!

Come present a solution design to a pressing issue that is limiting women and girls in their everyday life. Examples include but are not limited to: body image and shaming; perfectionism and unrealistic expectations; and harmful and out-of-date gender stereotypes. We invite you to turn your passion and talent into impact and create, either with some friends or on your own, a solution design for the change you wish to see.

Changemaker Challenge Participants: Need to Know

  • Teams will be required to pitch your solution design on March 9th, 2025, in person at Microsoft Campus, Redmond, Washington or virtually* if you reside outside the Puget Sound.

  • To participate, an adult sponsor (e.g., parent, guardian, teacher) must

register your team no later than February 17, 2025.
