EDUCATORS & COMMUNITY LEADS

How can you support – you can choose one or all of them 

  • Promote Bold Girls Transform the Norm program to your students / peers / parents through your network 

  • Recruit students to attend the “Imperfect Story” Speakers Series  

  • Get trained to be a workshop facilitator and use the facilitator guide to lead a follow up discussion workshop for your student groups 

  • Form, lead and coach a project team to participate in the “Transform the Norm” Changemaker Challenge Contest 

  • Provide feedback to Bold Girls project team to help improve the experience  

  • Apply to join the Educator/Community Advisory Board (link to the form) 

 

Why should you participate? 

  • Be an inspiration for your students and club members  

  • Spark your students/club members’ creative minds and broaden their horizon  

  • Access resources to develop your young leaders  

  • Join a community of like-minded educators and community group leaders to create a less gender biased society for the younger generation

PARENTS AND FRIENDS

How can you help - you can choose one or all of them 

  • Promote Bold Girls program to teachers, PTSA, local sports/activity clubs, other parents, your friends and communities through your personal network

  • Encourage girls in your family / community to join any or all Bold Girls activities

  • Support girls who choose to be a Student Ambassador.

    • Get trained to be a workshop facilitator to co-facilitate the “what’s possible” workshops alongside the girls

    • Lead and coach a project team to participate in the Changemaker Challenge Contest

  • Volunteer time/expertise to help the Bold Girls team wherever applicable 

 

Why should you help?

  • Input into the challenge category brief for the contest and committed resources to support the contest finalists to build prototypes
